

DELE
These are official qualifications that certify the level of competence and mastery of the Spanish language and are internationally recognized for life, awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain.
According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The exams for levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 consist of different tests ; depending on the level, some skills are combined, as in the DELE C2 level.

SIELE
The SIELE (International Spanish Language Assessment Service) certificate is an official certification that assesses proficiency in the Spanish language . It is internationally recognized and valid for academic and professional purposes.
The SIELE Spanish certificate can be taken on a computer at home or at an authorized center. Candidates can certify their Spanish in over 85 countries and at more than 800 centers.
The SIELE exam has a special characteristic: the candidate does not take a specific level, but takes an exam that evaluates levels from A1 to C1, receiving an overall rating based on the independent rating of each level.
The SIELE exam measures four skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written and oral expression and interaction . The levels it assesses range from A1 to C1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Exam results are received within a maximum of three weeks.
The types of exams are divided into:
SIELE Global: A comprehensive exam that assesses all four language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). It lasts 3 hours and awards a certificate.
Independent Modalities (5 types):
They allow you to evaluate specific combinations of skills, receiving a results report:
- S1: Reading Comprehension + Listening Comprehension (LC + LC).
- S2: Reading comprehension + Written expression and interaction (CL + EIE).
- S3: Auditory comprehension + Oral expression and interaction (CA + EIO).
- S4: Written Expression and Interaction + Oral Expression and Interaction (EIE + EIO).
- S5: Oral Expression and Interaction (EIO).
SIELE certifies the level of competence in the Spanish language through four tests:

CCSE
The test of constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE)
- It is an exam test developed by the Cervantes Institute that evaluates, through different tasks, knowledge of the Constitution, social reality, history and Spanish culture.
- To pass the test, it is necessary to answer 15 out of 25 questions correctly, which means that the candidate must answer 60% of them correctly to pass the test.
- It is necessary to pass the CCSE (sociocultural knowledge) and DELE A2 (language) exams to apply for Spanish nationality, among other documents.
