What is the CCSE test for?
Passing the test accredits knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and of the Spanish social and cultural reality, which is an essential requirement for the granting of Spanish nationality required by law.

What are the academic requirements to obtain nationality?
The test that certifies a basic knowledge of the Spanish language: Diploma of Spanish DELE level A2 or higher.
The test that accredits knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and Spanish social and cultural reality:
CCSE (constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain).

What is the exam?
The CCSE test contains 25 questions with a single correct answer, so it is scored automatically. Correct answers receive 1 point; the incorrect 0 points and are not penalized. The maximum score that can be obtained in the CCSE test is equal to the number of items it contains (that is, 25). The minimum score
to obtain the qualification of «apt» in the CCSE test is 15 points

Punctuation

The maximum score that can be obtained on the CCSE test is equal to the number of questions it contains (that is, 25 points). To pass the test (and obtain the APTO qualification) it is necessary to correctly answer 15 of the 25 questions, which means 60% of them. That is the same criteria presented by the DELE Spanish Diplomas Evaluation and Certification System .
